Oliver became a licensed Realtor in August of 1996. 
He has been a member of FAR and NAR since 1996 and has attended numerous FAR and NAR Functions and Conventions. 
Oliver is currently an active member and its 2010 Residential President of the Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches.  He has previously served on their Board of Directors as well as a Governor on the Residential Board. Oliver has also served on the Board of Directors for the Realtor Association of Miami Dade County for two terms.

Oliver began his Real Estate career with Coldwell Banker Residential R.E. Inc. at their Coconut Grove office in 1996 and later joined Wimbish Riteway Realtors in February 1998. 
In August of 2000, Oliver was promoted to Sales Manager of their Key Biscayne Branch office and served under that capacity until Wimbish Riteway Realtors was sold to Coldwell Banker Residential R.E. Inc in October 2002.

Oliver joined Fortune International Realty in February 2003 as the Sales Manager of their main office overseeing a sales team of over 150 associates.  In 2005, Oliver was promoted to the position of Managing Broker for Fortune International Realty overseeing the day to day operation of Four (4) Sales offices with over 400 Sales Associates. Oliver is responsible for managing all aspects of the company including strategic growth, new business developments, profit and loss, and acquisitions.

Oliver now joining Douglas Elliman as Managing Broker will contribute to the success of the company as well as its broker network.

Oliver has served as the Chair on several Appeal Tribunal Hearings and has also conducted Ethics training classes for members of the association.  He has served as a Director of the Realtor Association of Miami-Dade County.  In July of 2010, Oliver was on the Merger Team that was successful in the merge of the two local Real Estate associations into what is now “The Miami Association of Realtors “  the #1 Real Estate association in the nation. Oliver is now their first Residential President and will become its Secretary in 2011 with over 25,000 members.
