Pietro Belmonte is widely recognized as a prominent player and premier facilitator in the local and international real estate markets. Born in New York City and raised in Italy, he has enjoyed an illustrious real estate career for nearly two decades since first signing on with Manhattan’s premier residential brokerage firm, The Corcoran Group, in 1991. As a Senior Vice President at Corcoran, Pietro carved out a niche for himself as a downtown penthouse specialist, which ultimately propelled him to the rank of 25th highest-grossing broker in the city. In 2004, he relocated to Miami Beach in order to assume the position of Director of Sales for The Ritz Carlton Club & Residences in South Beach. In this role, he maximized his already-established network of international contacts, traveling the globe from Russia to Italy and the UK, creating invaluable exposure for the project. As a direct result of Pietro’s marketing efforts, 25% of sales for the Ritz Carlton Club came out of the countries he influenced. Pietro simultaneously built strong relationships with key international real estate agencies who continue to support him in his current endeavors.
On the heels of his success with the Ritz, Corcoran retained Pietro to direct the sales and marketing for the Mondrian South Beach on behalf of Morgans Hotel Group. Under his skilled leadership, the Mondrian became the fastest-selling project of 2006 for Corcoran Sunshine out of the 64 projects in the brokerage’s portfolio. Once again, the record breaking sales performance was attributed to Pietro’s worldwide connections, with 40% of the building sold to European buyers. Subsequently, Pietro was awarded the top position at Corcoran International promoting Corcoran Sunshine projects throughout New York and South Florida.
Most recently, Pietro was selected by the developer of the Mandarin Oriental Dellis Cay to spearhead international sales. This ultra-elite project in Turks & Caicos is comprised of multi-million-dollar villas designed by six world-renowned architects. Pietro continues to apply his proven formula for success, leveraging his unparalleled professional network and an ability to create innovative marketing plans. Pietro currently heads a team of top-producing real estate agents with Douglas Elliman Florida and is consistently sought-after to handle high-end residential sales for both individual clients and investors.
Fluent in English and Italian, Pietro enjoys the diversity of cultures found in South Florida. A globe-trotter by nature and profession, he currently resides on The Venetian Islands in Miami Beach.
